Please learn about Linegate site rules. Help us to keep Linegate clean, friendly and usable for everyone by follwing simple "site rules".
We reserve the right to remove ads without refund where these breach our "Site Rules" and/or "Terms of Use".
Posters that regularly break "site rules" will be restricted from future use of the site.
No duplicate ads
We only allow one posting for a particular category. Please don't post the same ad more than once either in the same category or across
multiple categories. If there are a few possible areas for your ad then please choose the most relevant.
Any duplicate ads will be removed.
Local ads only
Please post on the site geographically closest to you. Ads will only be accepted that are geographically specific and locally relevant.
For example, if someone is looking for accommodation or job in San Francisco, they would visit San Francisco Linegate site.
Post in the correct category
Please post in the correct category as it helps both posters in reaching the right audience with their ad and helps the users looking for
something to find what they want. The category specific guidelines below indicate which ads we do and don't accept in each category.
Do not add links to other websites
Please do not put a link in your ad to further details to another classified, property, dating, job websites.
Ads containing such information are very likely to be removed.
No keyword spamming
Keyword spamming is the practice of listing lots of often irrelevant phrases or words in an ad purely in an attempt to
have a better search ranking. We do not allow this on Linegate.
It is very frustrating to our users to find irrelevant ads in their search results,
it can make ads hard to read and it creates an unlevel playing field.
We reserves the right to remove any postings that we feel are not relevant, or of no value to the Linegate community.
No item prices, locations, phone numbers in the posting Title
Do not put item price, location, or phone numbers in the ad title -
please add such informatin into specific fields or ad description.
Housing
All "Housing" sections are for individual community members.
While posting, you have an option of specifying "For Sale", "For Rent" or "Wanted". Single posting should only advertises one property.
"Wanted" category is for advertising "wanted" not "offered" postings. This section is not for commercial advertisement or promotion,
but for individual community members advertising their need for accommodation.
If ads are indiscriminately posted in multiple, irrelevant categories, they will be removed.
Please do not add links to other accommodation websites.
Fair Housing Law
Title VIII of the Civil Rights Act of 1968 (Fair Housing Act), as amended, prohibits discrimination in the sale, rental,
and financing of dwellings, and in other housing-related transactions, based on race, color, national origin, religion, sex,
familial status (including children under the age of 18 living with parents or legal custodians, pregnant women, and people securing
custody of children under the age of 18), and handicap (disability).

Landlords and Agents
Private Home-owners, Landlords and Professional Agents are all welcome to use all "Housing" sections.
We reserve the right to limit a professional agent's ads per month, if, in our reasonable opinion,
the professional agent is flooding the site with similar ads in order for their ads to stay at the top of the listings pages.
Professional agents should use their judgement as to the frequency of reposting that is required and only repost as is
reasonable both from the users and a commercial point of view.
Your posting should clearly state that you are Landlord or Professional Agent.
Merchandise
The "Merchandise" category have been designed for private sellers and buyers. Posting in this category is free.
If you are a commercial retailer or conducting a business through your postings, please use the "Business Ads" section in
the "Services" category.
No auction items
Linegate is not an auction site, therefore we request that all ads contain a definitive price for the item.
Please do not post ads stating "highest offer accepted", "make an offer" or "best offer"
No links to auction sites or links to your ad posted on another site.
No ticket postings
Please do not post tickets on Linegate site. Such posting will be removed.
No postings of illigal items
Users remain responsible for complying with all applicable state and federal laws, regulations or restrictions that may apply to transactions in which they participate.
Please do not post illigal items on Linegate site - such will be removed without refund.
Here is the partial list of prohibited items:

* Obscene, erotic, pornography material
* Cigarettes or tobacco products
* No Pet ads - please use the Pets section under Community

Motors
"Motors" category is designed for listing motor-vehicle, watercraft and aircraft adverts.
When posting motorcycles and motor-vehicle ads, please add "VIN" number.
Please do not add vehicle Make into Title field.
Community
All of the "Community" sections are only for postings from individual community members and not for commercial advertisement or promotion.
Any ads suspected of this kind of activity will be removed.
The "Pets" section is to help the community find good, safe, caring homes for pets.
This section is not intended to facilitate:
* Breeding
* Commercial pet trading
* Trade of dogs for the purpose of fighting
* Stud services of any animal
Any ads suspected of this kind of activity will be removed.
Personals
The Personals sections are for individual community members only - not for commercial entities, events or dating groups advertising their services.
* You must 18 year of age or older to view or post in this category
* No postings involving exploitation of minors
* No links to your profile on another dating site
Jobs
Each job posting must advertise an individual (one vacancy only) and specific position.
Generic postings advertising multiple vacancies or employment services are not allowed.
All job posters remain responsible for complying with applicable labor and employment laws,
regulations or restrictions that may apply.
* Recruiting Agencies must clearly identify themselves in the posting description
* No Ads which require candidates to send money or stamped addressed envelopes to gain further details of the positions
* No Ads offering "Commission only", "Multi-level marketing (MLM)" or "Work From Home" jobs
* No Ads that advertise "Pyramid" selling, or "Multi-level marketing" schemes
* No Ads containing links to other job websites
* For "Fashion / Modeling" jobs, posters must include registered Agency email and business phone number

Services
The "Services" sections are for businesses and commercial entities to submit postings advertising their services.
* These sections are not for recruitment ads
* Please avoid putting your phone number in the title of your ad
* All ads must include valid business email address and business phone number
