What can I do with Linegate User Account?
Linegate user account is for your convenience. You can post, manage and view your ads. Also, you can manage your profile,
update password, view billing statements for paid ads, as well as, browse public ads.
By the way, we encourage you to update password often, so other people can not access your account.

How to submit posting?
Posting is easy. Simply follow the instructions below:
1. Click "Post Ad" link in the green bar at the top of all Linegate pages.
2. Chose a category for your Ad. Choose nearest location.
3. Enter a title, price (if applicable) and description. You also have an option of uploading up to four photos.
4. Click the "Preview" button, enter Credit Card info (if applicable) and submit your posting.
5. Finally, check your email for confirmation message from Linegate.

Can I post single Ad in multiple locations?
Linegate is designed for local trading. We do not enable you to post your Ad in multiple locations simultaneously.
Please post your Ad in the nearest location or closest city, where you or your item or service is located.

Can I add a picture to my posting?
In some categories, you will be offered the option to add images to your posting.
Additionally, you can do that using the HTML tag, but the picture must already be on a site someplace.
There are many free web hosting sites on the internet where you can upload your picture,
just type in "free web hosting" into your search engine.

How long does my ad stay on the site?

How to reply to a post?
Click on the posting you are interested. Click on the "Reply To Post" button. You will not see actual email address of the posting owner -
we are not sharing this - instead, you will be able to send a message through the web form. Your message will be delivered to
as owner.

How to re-post my original posting?
You can not repost your original posting. You will need to combine new posting.

How can I delete my posting?
You can delete your posting at any point of time. Login to your account, go to My Postings. Find your posting.
Click on title link to view posting and then click on "Delete" button to remove it.
Once you have deleted your posting, it will be removed from classified section. You can observe your deleted posting at "Deleted" section under
"My Postings".

I don't see my posting
There will be a short delay before your ad will appear online - approximately 10-15 min. from the time you've publish the posting.
All submitted postings will undergo review and approval process before shown on the main classified site.
If your posting does not appear in the category where you posted it, try to REFRESH or RELOAD your browser.
The refresh / reload option is usually located along the top of your browser. If you do not see it there,
try clicking the right button on your mouse.
If you do not refresh / reload, you might not be seeing the most current version of the page and you will not see your posting.
Postings may also be restricted or flagged by Linegate users for reasons such as "Overpost", "Terms of Use" or "Site Rules".

I have not received posting confirmation email.
After posting an ad, you should receive a confirmation email within 24 hours.
If you are using an AOL, Hotmail, Yahoo, Gmail or another generic email account and you are waiting for confirmation email
after posting a ad, please check your spam mail folder as these emails are sometimes directed into "spam" box.

I've posted ad in the wrong category. Can I change the location?
When posting at Linegate, you will have an option to preview your posting.
Please review your posting carefully - you will not be able to change posting location or ad category once it's pyblished.

How to Delete my posting?
Click on "My Postings", click on "Current" sub-tab. Select location you've submitted your ad to.
Find the posting you'd like to delete. Click on the title link, click on the "Delete" button.

I am getting error that some words not allowed. What is wrong?
Linegate is local community site and we like to keep things friendly.
So we ask that you don't use any swear words or adult/sexually explicit language in your ads.
If you receive a message when posting your ad that your ad contains some inappropriate words then take a look
at the title and description of your ad and remove any words that are commonly regarded as swear words or sexual language.

I can't see the changes I made to my ad after editing it. What's wrong?
After you edit an ad, there is always a slight delay before these changes are reflected in your ad.
The delay could be up to an hour or so - please be patient.
Give it a little time, check back on your ad a bit later, click refresh button on your browser and
you should see the changes live.

Can not access my account. What's wrong?
Go to main home page. Click on the "Forgot your password?" link. Fill out the form and check your email.

How will I get reply's to my posting?
Users interested in your posting will click on the "Reply to Post" button. This will bring up reply form, where they will
express their interest, then click on the "Send Message" button. This will send message to the email address that is registered
with your Linegate user account. Your actual email will not be shared with other Linegate users.
